TOOLS

Do you ever find yourself in the aisles of your local hardware store only to be mesmerized by the newest, latest gadget? Maybe you don't...but I do... maybe you've proudly brought home the newest beard trimmer, pipe cleaner, nail gun all in one to find that it doesn't work quite as good for you as it did for the fellow in the infomercial. As i've been tricked a time or two I think that honest tool reviews are an important place to start for any one serious about home remodeling. Tools can make many jobs so much easier, and harder (ask my sister-in-law about cleaning the electric paint sprayer).  As I've been growing as a home remodeler so has my collection of tools.  I started with no tools and now have more tools then I can find a home for most of the time, as you can see from my basement, garage, truck, bathroom,..whatever crazy place I can find to stash them. Which demonstrates another reason to be choosy with what you buy, saving money and space! Trust me, you really don't need 20 tape measures.

What I think I will attempt to do is have "Tool Tuesday" as my wonderful wife suggested.  I want to discuss small tools to large tools.  I will rate the tools by "buyability", if you will.  Basically I will discuss tools I use every day or never use and where you can find them at a great price. There just are so many tools out there it can be mind boggling.  I still go to the "Tool Stores" and spend hours if my wife would let me just scouring the aisles for the special tool. If you have a particular tool you are interested in hearing about or want to have reviewed just let me know, I always enjoy a tool extravaganza! Check back tomorrow for my first "Tool Tuesday".
